Rules for Using WeatherPower

WeatherPower grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for personal use, informational use, or approved internal business use.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in a way that violates law, regulation, or another person’s rights.

4

Weather, Alerts & Safety

WeatherPower provides weather content for informational and situational awareness purposes. That includes radar, forecasts, outlooks, alerts, location-based tools, audio features, and WeBot responses.

Important: WeatherPower is not an emergency dispatch service, 911 service, or guaranteed warning-delivery system.
  • Data may be delayed: Weather feeds, radar imagery, warnings, or notifications may lag, fail, or contain errors.
  • Alerts may not arrive: Push notifications, texts, emails, voice alerts, or device prompts can fail because of operating systems, network outages, browser limits, battery settings, or third-party systems.
  • You make the final call: You are responsible for decisions involving safety, sheltering, travel, work, school, property, and evacuation.
  • Official guidance comes first: When conditions are dangerous, follow the National Weather Service, local emergency management, law enforcement, and other official authorities.
5

User Content & Feedback

Some parts of WeatherPower may allow you to submit content, such as messages, support requests, saved notes, custom locations, comments, images, or information entered into tools.

  • You keep ownership: You keep ownership of the content you submit.
  • Operating license: You give WeatherPower permission to host, process, reproduce, display, and store that content only as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the Services.
  • Your responsibility: You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not violate law or someone else’s rights.
  • Feedback: If you send ideas, suggestions, or feature requests, WeatherPower may use them without payment or obligation.
6

Paid Features & Billing

Some Services may be offered as paid upgrades, premium tools, subscriptions, or add-ons. If you purchase a paid feature, you agree to pay the price, taxes, and charges shown during checkout.

  • Prices and features may change over time.
  • Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, purchases are non-refundable.
  • If billing is handled by a mobile app store or third-party payment processor, their terms will also apply.
  • If a subscription renews automatically, the renewal terms should be shown during the purchase flow or by the billing platform you used.
7

Beta & Experimental Features

WeatherPower may release early, preview, lab, or beta features. These features may be incomplete, unstable, limited, or removed at any time.

  • Beta tools may change without notice.
  • Beta tools may contain bugs, missing data, or unexpected behavior.
  • WeatherPower is not obligated to continue or publicly release any experimental feature.
8

Third-Party Services

WeatherPower may use or connect to third-party maps, data feeds, hosting providers, speech systems, communication tools, analytics tools, or other integrations.

  • Third-party services have their own rules, privacy practices, uptime, and technical limits.
  • WeatherPower is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or content issues.
  • Some features may stop working if a third-party provider changes access, pricing, or technical support.
9

Ownership & Branding

WeatherPower and its licensors own the Services, including software, branding, graphics, layouts, icons, text, design systems, and related materials, unless otherwise stated.

  • You may not copy, resell, lease, modify, distribute, or create unauthorized derivative works from the Services.
  • You may not use WeatherPower names, logos, marks, or branding in a misleading or unauthorized way.
  • Third-party names, logos, and data rights remain the property of their respective owners.

  • Excessive misuse of APIs, scraping, or automated access.
  • Business, product, operational, or legal changes.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Requests relating to account deletion or privacy rights will be handled under the Privacy Policy.

11

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

WeatherPower disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Services will be uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or always available.

12

Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeatherPower and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
