This may not be the final end of WeCall. A rebuilt version could return later in 2026 or sometime in 2027, but no relaunch date is guaranteed yet.
Service closed for now
WeCall is closed for now.
The WeCall service is no longer available at this time. Calling, messaging, account access, subscriptions, and new registrations have all been disabled while the project is shut down.
Why the service closed
WeCall depended on Twilio to operate its communication features. Following an unexpected suspension of the service account, the project could no longer operate reliably.
Voice calling disabled
Text messaging disabled
Signups and logins disabled
Payments and subscriptions disabled
A short first run: WeCall launched early in February 2026 and operated through July 2026.
